Congratulations to the winner of Blandford Literary Festivals first ever Ghost Story competition, Marianne Ashurst. Her story 'A Certain Shade of Red' was certainly spine chilling. The addition of Christmas cheer from the crowd surrounding the protagonist was a great contrast. We shall remember the haunting words of the little girl forever... 'I like red.'
Many thanks also to our runner up, Linda, all of our short listed writers, and every single person who entered.
We look forward to reading more from you all in the future!
