Welcome to Blandford Forum's Literary Festival!

 

Our Journey began back in early 2019 with a vision to host the towns first Literary Festival.

 

Blandford is home to a plethora of talent and it became our mission to make that talent known; introducing the town to both new and existing writers and encouraging creativity within the community.

 

Our first festival launched in November 2019 and was a great success. We have continued to host a variety of interim events including workshops, readings and competitions.

The aim for our 2024 festival is to build upon this foundation, bringing more exciting, interactive and educational events to our audience.

​

If you are an author, publisher, editor or illustrator who would like to host a workshop, signing or talk, or perhaps you are a group or individual that would like to offer your assistance in other ways, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Blandford Literary Festival is all about teamwork and community spirit, we are so thankful for the connections and friendships made on this journey and are looking forward to the future.
